Q: How long does the training take?
A: Okay first off, you are
never really ever done with training. Anyone who has been in this industry for a long period of time will tell you "YOU
ARE ALWAYS LEARNING!!!" No matter if you are brand new to this or a fifty year veteran. Now with that said the rest depends
completely on you. If you come to all of the training sessions and work hard, you will move faster than someone who comes
now and then and gives less than their best.
Q: How much does training cost?A:
This depends on what you want to be trained as. Obviously, training as a wrestler entails more than training as a valet. However
no matter what you would like to be trained as we can assure you that all of our prices our fair and reasonable. More detail
will only be given at an in person meeting.
Q: How old do I have to be to
train?
A: As of right now you must be at least 15 years old to begin training as a wrestler in our training
program, as well as to perform in any of the PWD events. However, to train as a referee, valet, manager, etc. all applicants
will be taken on a case by case basis!!!
Q: Do I have to be a body builder
or a seasoned athlete to be a wrestler?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! We here at PWD believe that anyone can
be a professional wrestler regardless of their body. I am sure wrestlers like Spike Dudley and X-Pac were told many times
that they would never make it in the wrestling world because of their bodies, but just look at what they have accomplished.
Also wrestlers like Yokozuna, Earthquake, and the 8th wonder of the world Andre The Giant make wrestling even more entertaining.
Because of their size they offer what seems to be an impossible task in defeating them. Now with that being said the one thing
everyone will need is great cardiovascular training which we offer. However, we do also recommend you train for this on your
own time as well.
Q: Can my friends come and watch me train?
A:
ABSOLUTELY NOT. We take this very seriously!!! You are here to learn, NOT to show off!!!
Q:
When will I be able to wrestle in the shows?
A: This also depends on you. We here at PWD will never
put someone in a show who is not ready. Doing this would risk the safety of that wrestler and the wrestler they are working
with! When you have proven yourself ready, we will book you in a show as soon as possible. We want to showcase the talents
we teach you here just as bad as you do.
Q: Do your train Women?
A:
ABSOLUTELY!!! Women have a long standing history in the world of professional wrestling. In fact the person who holds
the record for the longest title reign of all time is in fact a women. The Fabulous Moolah held the championship belt for
an unprecedented twenty-seven years!!! Imagine that!!! Weather you want to be a wrestler, referee, manager, valet, announcer,
etc. We allow all!!!
Q: Can I make up my own character?
A:
Yes, In fact we encourage you to do so, just as long as it follows our companies standards and guidelines. We will also be
there to help you refine your character to get the best out of it. We love to see talent who take pride in the development
of their characters, however the final say in the matter will be made by our head trainer and booker.
Q: Will we travel for shows?
A: Yes. Eventually we will be going to many different
venues for our shows. PWD management will also try their hardest to get you booked on other promotions events in other areas!!!
Q: What kind of guarantees do you make that I will one day wrestle for the
WWE, TNA, or another huge wrestling company?
A: Okay... please listen very carefully! THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES
IN THIS BUSINESS!!! If you ever come across an organization that tells you that they will have you wrestling in the WWE or
TNA or Japan within a set period of time, PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN!!! This industry is just the same as pro football or pro baseball
or pro anything. It depends on how dedicated you are and how hard you work!!!
Q:
Do you rent out your ring?
A: Yes, all of our ring rental fees can be found in the ring rental section
of our site.
